The meeting aimed to present the practical replication guide developed for municipalities that wish to integrate sustainability, aesthetics, and inclusion into their energy transition strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the meeting, participants including the Mayor of Negitono and the Mayor of Bogdanci from North Macedonia, were introduced to the \u201cPractical Guide for Energy Efficiency Upgrades based on New European Bauhaus Principles\u201d, a tool designed to support municipalities in moving beyond conventional technical interventions and toward more human-centered and participatory approaches. The discussion highlighted how energy-efficient public buildings can simultaneously function as climate-neutral infrastructures, educational environments, and spaces that strengthen local identity and social cohesion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Special emphasis was placed on the replicability of the proposed methodology, demonstrating how NEB principles can be adapted to municipalities of different scales and contexts. The mayors exchanged experiences and perspectives regarding the challenges of implementing sustainable renovations in public buildings, while also discussing the importance of citizen participation, biophilic design, accessibility, and the integration of local cultural elements into architectural interventions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event also included an interactive feedback process, during which participants completed questionnaires evaluating the applicability of the replication guide and identifying potential opportunities for transferring the methodology to other municipalities.
