We Applied to Present Our Project at the New European Bauhaus Festival 2026!

We are delighted to announce that our Municipality has officially applied to present the project “Transforming Pella’s Central Administration Building into a Near-Zero Energy Landmark with the New European Bauhaus Principles” at the New European Bauhaus Festival 2026, organized by the European Commission in June 2026.

This major European event celebrates the power of democratic engagement in shaping inclusive, sustainable, and people-centered communities. With a strong focus on affordable housing, citizen participation, and the creation of meaningful, human-centric spaces, the festival invites local authorities and innovators from across Europe to showcase visionary examples of transformation.

Our proposed contribution highlights how Pella is reimagining one of its most important public buildings—its central administration hub—through:

· Near-Zero Energy performance, representing a decisive step toward climate neutrality

· High-quality design, enhancing the wellbeing and experience of citizens and staff

· NEB principles of sustainability, beauty, and inclusion, ensuring the building becomes a symbol of a fair, green, and future-ready municipality

By applying to participate, we aim to share our journey, exchange practices with other European cities, and contribute to the broader movement of shaping better places to live, work, and connect.

We look forward to the possibility of presenting our work on a European stage. Stay tuned for updates!
