The team of the project “Transforming Pella’s Central Administration Building into a Near-Zero Energy Landmark with the New European Bauhaus Principles” recently participated in two major industry events to support the research, networking, and implementation of the project’s investment plan.

On March 27, 2026, the team attended Forward Green and Renewable EnergyTech in Thessaloniki, engaging with experts in energy efficiency, renewable energy integration, and smart building technologies. The event offered valuable insights into strategies for achieving near-zero energy performance in public buildings.

Following this, on March 29, 2026, the team visited MEDWOOD 2026 in Athens, a leading international conference on sustainable wood construction and innovative building materials. Discussions focused on solutions aligned with the New European Bauhaus (NEB) principles, which harmonize sustainability, aesthetics, and inclusivity in architecture.

These participations are instrumental in advancing the project’s goal of transforming Pella’s Central Administration Building into a showcase of sustainability, innovation, and cultural relevance. The insights and connections gained will help guide the successful implementation of the project’s investment plan while fostering research and collaboration in line with NEB-inspired design.
